Motor Driven Roller Conveyor
An E
nergy Efficient Means of Conveying

Transportation and zero pressure accumulation are two typical applications of MDR. Choosing zero pressure accumulation MDR typically reflects a higher up front cost, however, the long term savings by only having active zones as the product conveys down the lane will lower the operating costs and reduce noise.

  • Smooth and quiet operation
  • Less vertical frame height space required than other competing conveyor technologies
  • Great for modifying existing gravity conveyor utilizing an existing hex hole
  • Speeds from 20 - 200 FPM
  • Standard designs can be modified to transport heavier loads if needed
  • Multiple controls options available
  • Transportation and zero pressure systems

  • Conveyor rollers are equipped with low noise ABEC bearings
  • No noisy reducers, high voltage motors or drive chains also assist in the quiet operation of MDR conveyor
  • Conveyor is controlled so that rollers are off when no product is detected, the result is less power consumption ("Run on Demand" feature)
  • Cascade release
  • Slug release
  • Internal logic
  • External PLC logic

Modular Plastic Belt conveyor is a versatile solution that can satisfy a wide array of applications. From the versatile tabletop belt conveyor line to plastic belt curves, inclines, and straight horizontal conveyors, Omni specializes in providing the solution that will meet your needs.  Positive sprocket driven, low tension design, plastic belt conveyors require minimal maintenance, and eliminate troublesome belt tracking issues. There are hundreds of combinations of belt styles, materials, and colors designed for many applications.

Applications;

  • Positively driven, low maintenance transportation applications
  • Great for wash down applications
  • Moving tires around a corner in an automotive plant with Transverse Roller Top (TRT)
  • Handling raw meat or direct food contact with our sanitary conveyors
  • Product accumulation on either Roller Top or Flat Top belting
  • Racetrack configurations utilizing tabletop conveyor

Activated Roller™ Belt (ARB) conveyors are an innovative solution for superior package manipulation.  When compared to conventional product manipulation technology, ARB effectively & consistently performs the following;

  • Package centering
  • Package alignment
  • Singulation after robotic depalletizing
  • Singulation for pallet layers or rows
  • Sortation
  • Changing package orientation

Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors
Chain Driven Live Roller (CDLR) conveyors are ideal for transporting loaded pallets, tires, drums, or other heavy items. The welded construction makes them rugged and durable enough to handle even the toughest conditions. The sprocketed rollers and roll to roll chain system provide positive driving power to the product. Made to order lengths and widths are a standard offering.

Chain Driven Live Roller conveyor (CDLR) consists of (2) structural channel side frames separated by welded on structural angle spreaders. The sideframes support a bed of rollers with internal bearings that allow the roller tubes to rotate around a fixed axle that extends through holes in each side frame. There is a welded on drive base that supports a motor and gear reducer. A hub sprocket keyed to the output shaft of the reducer delivers rotation to (2) of the rollers through the drive chain. The subsequent rollers are driven by a series of roller to roller chains. A guard is required for safety purposes and consists of a formed steel bottom guard that is welded to the spreaders and a formed steel top guard that is bolted to the side frame and typically painted safety yellow. A separate drive guard is formed to cover the drive chain and sprocket. Structural channel legs can be welded or bolted to the frames.
